Donavon McGuire is an associate attorney with Webb McNeill Walker PC.  His practice focuses on § 1983 civil rights litigation. He represents Alabama counties, sheriffs, deputies, and correction officers in matters concerning the use of force, conditions of confinement, deliberate indifference, and other constitutional issues involving law enforcement. Donavon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Auburn University at Montgomery and obtained his Juris Doctor from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University.

Prior to joining Webb McNeill Walker, he served as an Assistant District Attorney with the 4th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. Also, he served as the Rural Economic Improvement Program Staff Attorney with Legal Services Alabama. Presently, Donavon serves as a Municipal Judge for the City of Selma, Alabama.

In addition to practicing law, Donavon enjoys spending time with family and serving his community.
